How to apply vinyl decals, vinyl mirror mantras and iron on vinyl mantra stickers
vinyl decal sticker mantras
These are for use in mirrors and windows and should last up to three years.
1: don’t rush, take your time, be intentional about the moment
2: clean the mirror or surface (rubbing alcohol is good)
3: rub across the front and back of your sticker with a bank card then peel the backing off your mantra sticker so the backs of the letters are exposed
4: position on the clean surface
5: rub across the sticker with a bank card
6: slowly peel the ‘transfer paper’ off - pay attention to dots and apostrophes, go back & rub with credit card again if you need to
7: say your mantra (and send Charlie (your new personal cheerleader) a picture for social media)
iron on vinyl bikini mantras
These are for use on stretchy, nylon and tech fabrics like bikinis and activewear, not canvas, shirts or high-in-cotton fabrics.
1: don’t rush, take your time, be intentional about the moment
2: clean the item you’ll be adding a mantra to
3: when it’s completely dry, position your mantra with the plastic on top (so that you can read the words, not mirrored or back to front)
4: prep your iron by heating it to the cotton/linen setting *no steam* or the maximin temperature the item of clothing can take
5: place the provided heavy duty parchment paper over the plastic of the iron on vinyl mantra, keeping it perfectly positioned
6: think heat + pressure (not ironing movements): place the hot iron on top of the parchment paper and hold it still, applying pressure for up to 30 seconds
7: flip the item, keeping everything in place, and press heat from the underside for up to 30 seconds
8: remove the iron (turn it off)
9: let the bikini cool completely then take the plastic off of your newly pressed mini mantra and keep it dry for at least 24 hours.
bikini mantras should last 50+ washes if you avoid: hot washes, fabric softeners, tumble drying (and people who dim your light ) x
